The idea of the system is to have a central place to:

· Record your CPD

· Record your Performance Mgt Reviews (inc targets)

· Record any Lesson Observations you carry out.

· Securely store any documents relating to the above.

Let’s take a look at how we would record CPD in the system:

You log in securely with your username and password. Your username is your email address (e.g. rkirkby@chesterton.cambs.sch.uk) and your password is password

You are then presented with a screen that shows you your current entries for the 3 areas the website records information for (CPD, Performance Mgt and Lesson Observation):

You can either scroll down the screen to see the performance mgt and lesson observations or click the View CPD / View PM / View Lesson Obs buttons to jump to them.

To view information on a particular entry you already have you simply click the Select hyperlink next to the entry –

Let’s look at inserting your own test CPD activity.

To add a CPD entry you just need to click the button APP CPD at the top of the screen

You then fill in each area of information – i.e. select the date of the activity, some text to describe the activity, type a cost, type an expected outcome etc.

Some lists you can select multiple items – i.e. you can say that this CPS activity meets several College aims.

For some lists of data, such as selecting which professional standards this meets you might have to click through several pages to find the relevant standard – use the numbered pages at the bottom of the list to do this.
