A simple way for teachers to record homework tasks for an entire class
 
YourSchoolPlanner is the new online teacher and student planner system that can be used to record homework / lesson information.  One entry by a teacher in School Planner appears in all class members planners. Both Teachers and Students can add private entries to their planners.
 
The system has a very easy to use WYSIWYG editor allowing html entries and the uploading of images and attachments.  This means teachers can attach homework resources to the planner entry for a class and this is quickly shared to all class members - and their parents!
 

• Teachers can quickly record homework tasks / class activities for their class (with data import from SIMS) which appear in all class members planners. Plan and add entries ahead for the entire term if you wish.
• Students no longer need to record homework tasks in a paper based planner - teachers can do this for them with a single entry. Students missing a lesson can check on what was missed and what homework is to complete.
• Parents can easily log in and check what homework tasks the student has to complete and even what learning has taken place in the day - If the school chooses, teachers can record lesson information giving a full picture of the students day to their parents (or absent students).
• Departments can remind parents of trips / tests or to bring kit in.

Being online teachers can record information from outside school and students / parents can access the information from anywhere!
