This unit builds on other work completed in Year 8 and also work from Year 7. Its main purpose is:

• To develop pupils' ICT capability through:
  • Understanding elements used to create a web page / site.
  • Types and styles of web sites.
  • Understanding HTML and 'tagging'.
  • Planning a web site and the necessary resources.
  • Understanding templates, style sheets and JavaScript.
    
    
• Provide a framework for teaching and learning.
